Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IGCSE CS Tutor platform ("the service"). By registering or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
IGCSE CS Tutor provides interactive lessons, flashcards, exam-style practice questions, timed mock tests, and progress tracking for the Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (0478) syllabus. The service is provided to support your revision and is not a substitute for your school's teaching or official exam preparation guidance.
Accounts
To access most features, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must not share your access with others.
Payment and access
Full access to the course is offered as a one-time payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, access is granted to your account. Access continues until your final exam period, after which access may end.
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis where required by applicable law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or our systems;
- Share, resell, or redistribute your access or downloaded content;
- Reproduce, scrape, or redistribute the educational content without permission;
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security features.
Intellectual property
The service, including lessons, diagrams, questions, and other content, is owned by IGCSE CS Tutor and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the content for your own personal study only. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the content without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any particular exam outcome. Your results depend on your own effort and study.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGCSE CS Tutor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for access.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the account menu. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will remove your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the service is operated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless required otherwise by consumer protection law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
